The team apparel store is open!
It's going to be a busy week or so for Blaine Girls High School basketball. Be sure to make note of the following events and times. Please remember everything is also posted on our calendar.
Tryouts & Uniform Handouts - November 11-13
Tryouts for the 2019-20 season will be Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, November 11, 12, 13. Uniforms will be handed out on Wednesday, November 13th after the last tryout. Here is a breakdown of the schedule:
Team Pictures - November 15th
Team pictures will be done by David Bank Studios on Friday, November 15th between 2:35 pm - 3:30 pm. Players will need to bring their photo forms and checks. Practices will follow immediately after pictures!
Team Building - November 16th
The team building event for the 2019-20 season is scheduled for Saturday, November 16th at Camp Friendship in Annandale, MN. Players will take the bus departing from BHS at 7:30 am sharp and return at approximately 4:00 pm.
Team Kick Off & Parent Info Night - November 19th
Team kick off and parent info night is scheduled for Tuesday, November 19th from 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm in the BHS cafeteria.
All players need to bring their family volunteer check for $200 to the Team Kick-Off and Parent Info night.
Once 10 hours of volunteering for our program is complete, we will shred this check - our intent in NOT to cash it!
If anything less than 10 hours of volunteering is completed during the regular season (no pro-rates), we will cash these checks to help offset costs for us to hire high-school student replacements. This program is managed by the Boosters to offset any additional fundraising for our players. Updates on current volunteering "balances" will be provided throughout the season or as requested.
The full 2019-20 girls basketball practice and game schedules have been published. You will find all scheduled practices and games on our calendar or via the documents below.
If you use the calendar you can import the calendar to your iPhone following the instructions on this page.
Please note the additional details for each practice as there may be film and weight lifting sessions before or after practice.
Finally, players should not rely entirely on these posted schedules as they are subject to change. Players should go by what their coaches tell them from week-to-week.
The Blaine Girls High School Boosters program is excited to announce that we will be offering Girls Youth Spring Basketball again for 2020! We are intending to offer teams across 6th - 12th grade. Visit our Spring Basketball page for details.
